Lately I’ve had the privilege to take part in a very special and emotional event in the Knesset celebrating a joint Bar Mitzvah for a group of young boys who received a set of Talet and Teffilins.
I wish to express my respect and admiration for your dedicated work, helping low income families to celebrate their son’s Bar Mitzvah in a delightful and happy event.
This very unique celebration marks those boys’ connection to the long chain of generations in the Jewish people, being now part of our everlasting community.
I believe this event brings those boys and their families a much needed warm and enlightening experience, but also carries a message as the Psalms 1.3 states: “And he shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, that bringeth forth its fruit in its season, and whose leaf doth not wither; and in whatsoever he doeth he shall prosper”.
I encourage and bless all those involved in this holy project, Hazak Ubaruch.
